Hello and welcome to my website!
 
This site provides information about me, my work, and my interests in the fields of writing instruction, language, literature, and digital pedagogy. 

​I teach a variety of writing courses at UC Berkeley, where I have also taught for the Summer Bridge program, the Summer English Language Studies program, and the Global Edge Program. Prior to working at Cal, I taught for both the Literature Department and the Writing Program at UC Santa Cruz.

My interests include multilingualism and writing instruction in the US, new technologies for learning and writing, student discovery, cultural theory, global histories, and the American West.
