Course Description and Objectives:
College Writing N2 is a three-unit course designed to introduce students to reading, writing, and critical thinking at the university. We will focus on writing as a process, working with a variety of texts that explore issues of language, culture, and identity within the context of education. In addition, you will develop strategies for participating in college-level discussions and for critical reading. You will analyze the texts in a way that draws both from an academic context as well as from personal experience, and write several drafts of three essays, which will evolve from a series of assignments.
